Practice Recycling

According to the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency), paper makes up 26% of all waste currently in landfills. Know your area's recycling guidelines and keep paper products out of the trash.

Know Your Companies

Buy from companies that you know are actively working to reduce their contributions to deforestation whether that's through mining, agricultural, or clear cutting practices

Look for the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Mark

Plant Trees

There are individuals and companies out there who are working to reverse the effects of deforestation, but the numbers aren't quite there yet.

Whether you plant the tree yourself or financially contribute to organizations actively planting trees (either through donation or responsible shopping), you can help create forest regrowth.
