What is CO2?

CO2 (Carbon Dioxide) is a greenhouse gas. Greenhouse gases trap heat in the atmosphere and cause the planet to warm up.

We have drastically increased our CO2 levels in recent years:

While CO2 is not the most potent greenhouse gas, it does have the highest contribution rate by human activities.
