What is CO2?

CO2 (Carbon Dioxide) is a greenhouse gas. Greenhouse gases trap heat in the atmosphere and cause the planet to warm up.

We have drastically increased our CO2 levels in recent years:

While CO2 is not the most potent greenhouse gas, it does have the highest contribution rate by human activities.

Continue to the next sections to see how food production and deforestation contribute to our CO2 rates, and how you can help
